hlix terminal

hlix terminal gives you the same access as the dashboard’s Terminal tab: a shell inside the project’s Coding Workspace.

Without flags the ssh … command the server minted runs right here, and the session’s exit code becomes the command’s. --web opens the browser terminal with your system opener. Both credentials are short-lived; run the command again when one expires.

When it cannot connect

Section titled “When it cannot connect”
  • not_found — the terminal is not available yet. The message says why: creating while the terminal’s sandbox starts (try again in a few seconds), absent for an archived project, which does not start one.
  • missing_argument — no project id and the folder is not bound to a project. Pass the id or run hlix init --project <id> first.

The dashboard’s Terminal tab shows the same environment states, and its Hlix Code card runs hlix for you: on the desktop app it opens your Terminal already signed in; on the web it gives you the command to paste.
